Growing up in his father’s country store in eastern North Carolina, Ed Jenkins learned at an early age the value of outstanding customer service. It is a trait he has employed as owner of more than a half dozen successful businesses over the past
five decades.
As owner and operator of Pleasant Shade Awnings, Ed treats every customer the way he would like to be treated — no hype, no pressure — just good old-fashioned customer service!
After all these years, he remains a “hands-on” entrepreneur, so don’t be surprised if he personally shows up with the installation crew.

We will bring fabric samples, take measurements, and answer any questions that you may have. We'll guide you through the process without any pressure, making sure you are comfortable with your options. We can then place your order right from your home.

Once you place your order it will be only matter of weeks before our expert technicians will install your new Sunsetter awning. Before we leave, we'll make sure you totally understand the operations of your Sunsetter. Then sit back and enjoy your deck or patio like never before!
